Monthly Payment Scheme

Spread warmth throughout the year


Our popular Monthly Payment Scheme helps you to spread the cost of your annual fuel use over 12 monthly payments. That way you don’t have to worry about fuel bills arriving at an inconvenient time.

To help you keep track of your balance, we’ll send you an account statement every three months, as well as a priced invoice after each delivery. We’ll review your account annually to help ensure your monthly payments remain on track.

You will also benefit from our rewards program only available to our Monthly Payment Scheme customers. You’ll receive member benefits such as five working day delivery*, 2% interest per annum (subject to change) paid when your account is in credit and exclusive prize draws. For every litre delivered to you, you’ll earn one point.


If you have ordered within 12 months, you will be able to place an order straight away. In the instance where you have not placed an order in the last 12 months, we ask that you pay for your first delivery of fuel in full. Alternatively, if you do not require a delivery at the time of setting up your Monthly Payment Scheme, as soon as you’ve made three monthly payments you’ll be able to use your account to pay for subsequent orders. Credit is also subject to status.

A maintenance plan for your oil-fired boiler or cooker and our Tankscout fuel monitoring service can also be added to the cost of your monthly payment scheme.

*We aim to make deliveries within five business days. Delivery times may be affected by events beyond our control (for example, adverse weather conditions). Deliveries to areas with restricted access may take longer.

Our Tankscout fuel monitoring system is a stress-free way of managing your home heating oil supply.

Ensuring you never run out
Tankscout links into our fuel delivery system. When the level of fuel in your tank drops below your specified trigger level, we can automatically raise an order for your next delivery.

Peace of mind is only a click away
Tankscout gives you access to your latest fuel tank readings online and via your smartphone. This helps you monitor how much fuel you are using each week and gives you a greater understanding of your home heating oil consumption.

It couldn't be simpler
We will contact you to arrange an installation date. Once your Tankscout has been installed, we will provide you with login details and instructions for viewing your readings online.

Monthly / £8
Only available to customers on our monthly payment scheme. A monthly subscription fee of £8* over a contracted period of three years.

Yearly / £105
A subscription of £105* per annum billed yearly in advance. This is for a minimum of three years.

Upfront / £299
A one off payment of £299* which includes 3 years of service charges.

Boiler service

Maintain your boiler’s performance

All oil-fired boilers and cookers require regular servicing to minimise the risk of breakdowns and ensure they perform as economically and efficiently as possible.

Through our Boiler Service division, we can offer both one-off services performed by our team of experienced OFTEC-registered engineers, or a range of annual service plans to keep your oil-fired boiler, Aga, combi or cooker running smoothly. Plans are available to suit all needs. Boiler servicing is available at most Watson Fuels locations.

Cold Weather Priority

Cold Weather Priority Initiative

At Watson Fuels, we pride ourselves on our industry-leading service. This includes taking additional care of our customers who are vulnerable in extreme weather.

That’s why we have taken the step to join the Cold Weather Priority Initiative. The Cold Weather Priority Initiative has been developed by UK and Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA). 

If you – or a member of your household – are over 75, you can register for free to receive priority deliveries during cold weather or times of fuel shortage.
