By giving you more control over your fuel purchasing. fuelGenie gives you greater security and control over spending with monthly invoicing you will be able to track your fuel costs.

Your fuelGenie card must be signed on the back of the card along the signature strip to validate its use. You will not need to memorise a pin number in order to use your fuelGenie card, you will simply be asked to sign for your purchase by the cashier.

Your fuelGenie fuel card will be issued 10 working days from being ordered.

If you misplace your card please let us know as soon as possible. You can do so by calling us on 01666 510612 or emailing us at cards@watsonfuels.co.uk. We will immediately place your fuelGenie card on stop ensuring no transactions can take place on the card. We will then issue you with a new card to allow you to continue purchasing fuel at your chosen supermarket.

Collecting your supermarket loyalty points is easy. Simply present your supermarket loyalty card when paying with your fuelGenie card and the points earned from your fuel purchase will be added as usual.

If you experience issues drawing fuel, check you have not exceeded the security limits applied to your card. Please check your card for splits, bends or scratches. Always keep your card, chip and magnetic strip clean and avoid direct sunlight, magnets and heat. Unfortunately, the fuelGenie fuel card does not work using pay at pump.

For security reasons, we do limit your litres based on the weekly amount specified when ordering the card. We suggest that you overestimate your weekly usage upon ordering to incorporate unusual travel weeks.

Typically we allow two fuelGenie cards per account. Should additional cards be required, this may incur a small fee for the card to be produced.

We keep one field consistent across all cards, typically this is Surname. However, upon ordering the cards, you are able to specify what you would like to be embossed. We recommended adding a differentiating field to each card if different family members will be using it. This can be as simple as Mr Smith on card one and Mrs Smith on card two. 

You are able to purchase Diesel, Unleaded petrol and Car washes with your fuelGenie card. However, this will need to be specified at the point of ordering the fuelGenie card. Any changes to the products you would like to purchase will mean the card will have to be re-ordered, which may incur a small fee for the card to be produced.

Yes. Any supermarket issued vouchers will be valid when used in conjunction with your fuelGenie card.

You are able to add a spending cap on your fuelGenie card, however this must be requested.  To request a spending cap please email us at cards@watsonfuels.co.uk including your account number.

While only Monthly Payment Scheme customers are eligible to benefit from a fuelGenie fuel card, this payment will not be incorporated into your monthly oil payment. Your fuelGenie payments will be taken via a separate Direct Debit.

Unlike many other fuel card providers, the fuelGenie card is free to get, free to use and, what’s more, there are no hidden surcharges or minimum spends. You simply pay the pump price for the fuel that you use.  And it’s not just free for the first year, it’s free all the time!

You will be invoiced on the first Tuesday of each month with your Direct Debit payments taken 7 working days after.
