In line with government guidance, we’re taking steps to minimise non-essential contact for our Boiler Service engineers.
We would therefore like to advise customers of the following:
We’re temporarily suspending non-emergency appointments
From today, we are suspending routine and non-emergency appointments for all customers – including scheduled annual service visits – for the foreseeable future. We will also stop taking any new service bookings for the time being.
Our engineers will continue to deal with emergency boiler and cooker breakdowns, prioritising the needs of our CWP and most vulnerable customers first.
Our Boiler Service team will be working to confirm all cancellations by telephone throughout the coming week(s), to help keep all affected customers informed. However, as you may appreciate, we will be unable to confirm a new date for these appointments at this time.
We can still help in case of emergency breakdown
Our engineers can still help you if you have an emergency, but please let us know if you think you could be at risk of COVID-19, or are self-isolating, so we can take precautions to protect both you and our engineers. Our engineers will distance themselves from you during your emergency appointment, and we ask customers to please respect the social distancing guidelines. Please also thoroughly clean the room in which the boiler is housed and the access route to the boiler to avoid the job having to be rescheduled.
If you have an emergency breakdown, please call our team on 01604 881111 and we will try to find a way to help.
We will regularly review and update this guidance
With the rapidly changing nature of the COVID-19 outbreak, information and advice from Government can change quickly. We will continue to review our status, and update our website at www.watsonfuels.co.uk with our latest updates.
