• How do you calculate my annual home heating oil usage?

  Our team estimates your usage based on your property size and similar properties in your area.

• How do I know I won’t overpay for home heating oil?

  We will review your account with you every six months to make sure your payments reflect your actual usage. If your usage is less than was estimated, you’ll receive a credit at your one-year anniversary. Plus, you’ll earn 2% interest on all credit balances throughout the year.

• Why is a Monthly Payment Scheme better than ringing around for the best deal?

  Ringing around to find the best deal is time-consuming. It also may be confusing. Some suppliers may not be upfront about their charges and will add an administrative fee to your quote. Plus, you have to pay lump sums for each delivery, which can leave you with a large payment at the worst time possible.

  With our Monthly Payment Scheme, you can spread your heating oil spend over 12 months. You’ll receive a premium service, including five working day delivery, well above the 10-day industry standard. You will also receive 2% interest on any credit in your account. 

• When is the best time to start a Monthly Payment Scheme?

  You can start at any time and place your next order on account instead of paying a lump sum.

• I live in a very rural area. Can you deliver home heating oil to me?

  We deliver to homes with bulk storage (home heating oil tanks) on-site in rural villages, very small towns and remote properties. We have 35 depots across England, Wales and Scotland and a national network of tankers. Wherever you are, we’re likely nearby. Live in a hard-to-reach location? When placing your order, ask if one of our “baby” tankers can access your home.

• I’ve never run out of home heating oil before. Why should I worry now?

  It’s important to keep a close eye on your heating oil levels. However, a faulty measurement gauge or unexpected cold spell could cause you to run out of oil at the worst possible time. If this happens, you could end up without heating for many days or even weeks, especially if it’s a peak season like winter.

  With a Monthly Payment Scheme from Watson Fuels, you’ll be on a priority five working day delivery schedule. You can also add services like Tankscout so you always know your home heating oil level and never run out.

• How will I pay my Monthly Payment Scheme invoices?

  All payments are made by Direct Debit.

• What types of homes will benefit from our Monthly Payment Scheme?

  We service everything from one-bedroom rental cottages to 20-bedroom manor houses. Our average delivery is anywhere between 500 – 5,000 litres of home heating oil.

• What can I expect from our Monthly Payment Scheme?

  You can expect a heating experience similar to being on mains gas.

• What if I move from my house in the next 12 months?

  There are no contracts or tie-ins with our Managed Payment Scheme. You’re free to cancel at any time.
